Hi All, i am staying in colombo for a month from the 9th feb and looking for an apartment/backpackers/bnb - any ideas or tips will be very useful, thanks!!!

Colombo is not good for budget accomodation but there%26#39;s one place I know.

I havn%26#39;t been there for a couple of years , so don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s still operating although I see no reason why not.

It%26#39;s set in a very quiet little street quite near the centre.

It%26#39;s actually more like a little English cottage than a house you%26#39;d expect in Colombo.

Many thanks - a months rental in an apartment in Mount Lavinia would be ideal, somewhere near the beach maybe, will check out the website, cheers
