can anyone help we have just received a letter from first choice notifying us of building work going on next door to seashells hotel if there is anyone out there at the moment could you let us know if this is going to disrupt our holiday, as we have the choice to change hotels

We stayed at the Seashells Hotel from 3rd Dec-18th December - and the building work on the hotel next door was practically unnoticable.

Our room was approx. 50ft from it. One morning we heard very slight banging but it was very minimal.

The hotel has 2 wings and the building is on the poolside of the hotel - where we stayed. If it was a problem, then you could move to the other side, as the staff are very obliging.

Also we spent the last days of our holiday around the pool and heard nothing at all from the building work even though they were there.

I would disregard the letter as we had the same from First Choice, and you would miss staying in a fabulous hotel, in a great location.
