Sri lankan air Taxi

Hi can any one tell me if it%26#39;s still operating to Bentota and if so how to book it please . I belive it takes 35 mins to Bentota insted of 3 hrs .

Hi Paul...

At this time the Sri Lankan Air Taxi service is not operating, well hasn%26#39;t been for over a year now, was first halted due to terror fears, then because of falling tourism numbers meant it was no longer viable.

You can always check on Sri Lankan%26#39;s website for updates.

Facts are right (though with one service a day it was some waiting at the airport, depending on arrival schedule, too...). Currently out of service purely because of not enough demand. So it could pay off to contact the airline at www.srilankan.aero and check about possible restart plans...

I%26#39;m not going until 20 June I wonder what the chance of them starting up again is?? We dont land until something Nasty 0-Clock 2.25 am I think , and didn%26#39;t fancy the 3 hour drive .

One flight a day ,wouldn%26#39;t be much good at 2-30 am then LOL ,No landing lights on the river either .

I did read Dave%26#39;s recommendation of a Driver named jelly I think ,I%26#39;ll phone Kuoni and see if I can get him assuming Dave hasn%26#39;t booked him for the duration . unless you guys have another suggestion I have already booked the private transfir option .

Yeah no good at that time of morning anyway, but that said it would not take 3 hours from airport to Bentota at that time anyway !, more like 1 and half to two.

By all means e-mail, or call Kuoni reservations about Jally, they will try to honour your request, and nope, i will be home by then so he won%26#39;t be busy with me.
