can any tell us if it possible to have weding and bridesmaid dresses made in sri lanka and if so approx the price we are going in sept for my brothers wedding thanks

don%26#39;t know about brides/ bridesmaid but my son in law and his best man are having their suits made whilst they are there. We fly on august 25th and the wedding is the 2nd/ 3rd september - the hotel club dolphin have asked for 5 working days to make suits.

best to head into Colombo for better tailors to make dresses. If you have a specific material buy it in the UK and bring it. I would recommend a Sari for wedding...........

There are plenty dress makers in Negombo too. you may breing your own design or give the dress maker the choice. as someone else suggested colombo is also a better place to get ones bridal and maids dresses done. there are a number of people that can be recomended in Colombo. However, if you are working a tight schedule, you might want to try a dress maker close to where you are staying.
