10 days to go and counting. my first visit to sri lanka my partners second from what he says best place he has ever been. Has anyone just come back from staying at the neptune any coments. Im abit worried about coping with the heat and the long plane journey. would it be advisable to pack shorts in hand luggage for when we arrive. Also do we need to take plug addapters?.after saying all that im like a kid a christmas icant wait.

Neptune is ok, a nice hotel with excellent food and service too, ok maybe it needs a little upgrading now but still ok.
Yes, it will be hot when you arrive, and a nice change from what we have here in UK right now, but you will soon get used to it, maybe packing shorts and t shirt in hand luggage and changing just before you land at Colombo may help.
Plugs??, all rooms have UK type 3 pin plugs.
