could anyone gie me an idea of the nearest place to visit the elephants from club dolphin and how much does it cost, also if we do an overnight stay which other place to visit and how much for this trip. there are 15 of us going but not neccesarily all going on trips so maybe a minibus price too if possible

Pinawela. There are two places there: Elephant Orphanage and Millennium Foundation, serving different audiences. Both are about 2 hours (one way) from Waikkal. Day trip is possible, only when you want to combine with Kandy (45 mins more) it%26#39;s better to stay overnight. Search the forum with the attraction names to get details, including bathing times and (recently increased) fees.

The price for a sedan with driver for this distance is about Rs 6,000. For a minibus maybe 50-75% more.
