Thinking of staying at Hikkaduwa in April. Is there a body surfing beach there? Some seem to be rocky in this area.

Body surfing should be possible at Narigama, which is at the southern end of Hikkaduwa.

The beach at Narigama is wide , long, clean and sand. No rocks to interfere ..

It%26#39;s a point that the local lads and visitors use for surfing.

Arigama is like a southern suburb of Hikkaduwa roughly about 1 mile sout of the town centre. Plenty of budget hotels and guest houses there.

Consider going to Mirissa an hour further south as well. Great waves there for body surfing, stunning beach and good times to be had.
