Not sure if this is possible - but there is a distillery (Mestiya) that distills arrack and gin in Wadduwa. They just might let you take a tour - as far as I know they do not have formal tours nor open for tours. But ppl in SL are so hospitable that if you ask they might just take you around (and would be free - including samples!!).

Speak to the beach boys and they will be able to sort out some local trips for you we used a man call lal he was best man at our wedding ask for lal on the beach and he is honest and will not rip you off.
