Hi Jason,

I don%26#39;t think anyone can advise you on how much to change when you don%26#39;t know if, or how many trips you%26#39;re likely to do. What purchases you migt make etc.

I%26#39;d suggest that , at the airport, you change about 拢50 into rupees. Make sure you get plenty of small denomination notes. That%26#39;ll do you for small tips to the hotel staff , a local tuk tuk ride and small expenses.

If yu arrange any long trips, then you%26#39;ll know how much you want and can get your driver to stop off at an ATM, or an open bank so you can withdraw what you need.

Tipping is always best in rupees.

lots of the people you%26#39;ll be tipping don%26#39;t have bank accounts and whichever whey they change foreign money, they%26#39;ll lose out on the deal.
