Hi,

all the way along Lewis Place and the Poruthota road , there,s an abundance of shops selling this sort of stuff.

Wood carvings, including masks, are excellent but do be careful about buying ebony which is often just a different wood dyed black.

I am not sure whether you visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress during your stay/ In that case you could buy them from Sigiriya handicrafts village. In this place you can see how people works on creating this masks.

There are many shops in Negombo Beach side. But if you are doing a tour, i recommend Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Sigiriya, Naula and Ambalangoda. you even can watch them making those items.
