Went to Yala yesterday. It was truly amazing. We saw Leopard, herds of elephants, wild boar, crocs and lots more. It was such an easy visit. There was one checkpoint on the way in and it too was very relaxed. It was the highlight of our trip to Lanka so far.

So pleased you had a great time in Yala without any problems. It concerns me that people are staying away from this great part of Sri Lanka because of outdated danger reports which make insurance companies refuse to cover. Good on you.
