Taprobana Villas Bentota

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone has recently stayed at Taru Villas Taprobana in Bentota? or knows what it%26#39;s like. I%26#39;m due to stay there in July but there have been a few bad reviews lately, so am considering changing hotels

We are also due to stay here in July (actually I%26#39;m not sure of the dates it may be August by the time we reach this hotel) but I have also been put off by the recent reviews - does anyone know anything more about this hotel? It seems like something has changed from last year?

Yes, we just stayed there. It%26#39;s very small and beautifully designed. The food is lovely and the staff treat you like royality. The pool is a good enough size and they keep the beach behind the hotel clean and bring out deck chairs and umbrellas. If you get a bit board go to the Bentota Beach hotel were you can use all their facilities for a small price. They have a children climbing frame, elephant rides, great watersports - water skying, jet skies, and a gym. we didn%26#39;t stay at the Bentota beach because we like the boutique experience, but if we were going on a lower budget we definately go to the Bentota Beach.
