Back from Ranweli we%26#39;ll spent our next holiday in April at Dolphin Hotel ( ... and hope that the weekends will not be the same fully booked hotel with lokal guests like at Ranweli ;-( ... )

We are looking for a quiet place of bungalow at the beach and would be glad, if somebody can help us:

Deffinately Dolphin will have local people at the weekends, like all Sri Lankan hotels do, and depending on what time of April you are going there it could even be WORSE than you have experienced recently too!!!

April is time for the Sri Lankan New Year celebrations, this is around the weekend 11th %26amp; 12th April (actual New Year 13%26amp; 14th) , and this time would be a VERY long weekend too, as it also clashes with Easter AND a Poya day holiday too, so a FULL 6 days public holidays in Sri Lanka, so you must expect hotel to FULL then....., like ALL Sri Lankan hotels will be.

Hi,

Front row beach bungalows away from the main hotel, near the quieter pool are numbered 57 ( nearest pool ) - 50, leading to the path that goes into the hotel.

We stayed in No 51 last April, and No 47 ( 1 row back ) Nov 07 and loved them both.

But remember you will have the beach lads hounding outside your door, if this gets too much Tell reception ( afterall they cannot sort it out if they are not aware ).
