also if it is advisable to upgrade or stay at b%26amp;b ?

Any advise would be appreciated.

All inclusive upgrade

Hi,

Which hotel are you talking about?

Hans

All inclusive upgrade

Hi

the Blue Water Sri lanka.

Hi there...

If Wadduwa, then ';most probably'; Blue Water, as far as i know no other All Inlcusive hotel there.

Ok, YES, would be MUCH cheaper to do the upgrade after you arrive, your agent is trying to rip you off !, cannot put an exact cost on it but would be considerably cheaper to do this with hotel, as it would to upgrade any meal basis in Sri Lanka.

Blue water, if this is your chosen hotel, is fairly isolated, with very few restaurants, bars ect in easy walking distance.

Regards

Dave

Hi,,,I%26#39;ll be at The BW in 3 weeks, the upgrade is 60 dollars pppn well worth it..

jason.

Hi Jason

$60pppn is very expensive, that is £42.39 pp. That would make it £890.19 for 7 nights.

That is the correct hotel. Thank you for your advise it is much appreciated.

Also can%26#39;t believe that price. Had lunch at BW two years back for the (in Lanka) usual price at 4-5 star of Rs 1000 with drinks. Make it for dinner maybe Rs 2000, also high-end, and that makes Rs 3,000 (USD 25) pppn for the difference between the basic BB rate and full-board. AI is sometimes slightly more than FB but not much. So still, I think the travel agent charges way too much but what the price at the hotel is exactly? Hopefully someone here has the right amount...

All the best,

Thank you very much thats very helpful.

sorry my mistake , we are paying $60 per couple per day, but i think that is discounted , because we are a large wedding party..

Okay, that%26#39;s basically 42 pounds times 7 is 250 pounds. Add maybe 50-100 pounds extra for the child and that still proofs that upgrading locally is way cheaper than what the agent offered...

Have fun,
