Hotel Sigiriya or Sigiriya Village Hotel?

Ho - both are approx the same price and both have mixed reviews - but the Hotel Sigiriya has had some really bad reviews just lately

Which one would you choose to stay at?

SV for sure. The lush landscaped setting is stunning, and makes the room experience much better. It compensates for the pool and Rock views which are slightly less than HS...

Hotel Sigiriya or Sigiriya Village Hotel?

Yep .. Sigiriya Village is superb. The grounds alone are reason enough to visit. And the accommodation is great too.

The cultural triangle has some excellent places to stay at .. I have stayed at Cinnamon Lodge and Chaaya Village at Habarara on previous visits also. Those two hotels are the best if you are a ';foodie';, but Sigiriya Village is my overall favourite, purely for the fabulous grounds and being able to walk to places like Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala from the hotel ....
