My husband and I are going to Sri Lanka in on March 11th. We are %26#39;doing%26#39; the Highlights of Sri Lanka the first week and then on to the beach for the second week.
Has anyone reading this been with First Choice for this holiday and if so can you offer any advice?
Firstly, what electrical sockets do they have. Is the same as Europe or America?
Secondly do the hotels we stay at have swimming pools?
Anyone%26#39;s advice would be appreciated.

Could not find the specific tour on the First Choice site so the response might not be 100% accurate; if you have an URL...
1) Sockets: they%26#39;re all UK voltage (220-240 V). Some will be UK model (3 square pins) and some Lankan model (2.5 round pins) which is close to continental. So bring an universal adapter with you.
2) Generally all hotels on the FC website have pools and that probably also covers the tour, EXCEPT hotels in the real Hill Country (above 1000 m altitude, mainly Nuwara Eliya). It%26#39;s too cool there for unheated outdoor pools.
