Can any one help my wife and I are off to Sri Lanka in July and were wondering what the cost of trips will be?

A decent price for a daytrip upto 100 km, which means 2 x 100 km (--%26gt; 6 hours) ride, is around Rs 6,000-8,000 per car. Solely for guiding/transporting; entrance fees come on top of it. They are e.g. for the Pinawela jumbo orphanage now Rs 2,000, per person.

For other trips, e.g. canal boat ride, roughly similar prices can be expected. With individual operators and %26#39;beach boys%26#39;, the hotel desk itself will charge more...
