Option of visiting Polonnaruwa at extra cost. Would you recomend this trip and how much does it cost?

Hi Supernan,

1] Hill country at night if you%26#39;re unlucky close to freezing. Daytime, same conditions, 10-12%26#39;. Good conditions: 20%26#39; and sunburn. The main factor there is clouds/fog versus sun.

2) P%26#39;ruwa is quite like Anuradhapura and Mihintale, and yet different. So if you have general interests you could suffice with seeing one of these, if you%26#39;re deep into culture/history it makes sense doing all. Cannot inform you of the cost Kuoni charges, but probably arranging yourself locally is cheaper ;-)

3) You WILL have time to change pounds into rupees upon arrival, as there are 5+ desks at Arrivals and usually hardly any queues. Generally pounds that is; TC or cash or even a Maestro ATM-card.

4) Dinner with local drinks is Rs 1200-1500, ditto lunch Rs 600-900.

All the best,

hi Supernan

In NuvaraEliya at night it has 10-13 degrees celsius. There is a little bit of Hard Sunshine in the Day time.

Triangle ticket cost $40.

You can change your money in Money Changers. Its better if you use ATM Cards.

Dinner and Lunch = Rs 600 - 1500

You can choose what you want. [Sri Lankan Food]

Bye

Shehan
