If you are looking for 5*Hotels try Light House, Amangalla, Galle Fort etc etc.
We stayed here for 8 nights, early December. A nice clean %26amp; tidy beach front hotel. Most importantly the staff makes this hotel.The GM has hand picked his staff and they work as every one owns a share of the hotel; what I mean is they can not do enough to make you feel homely.
If you have your meals there you%26#39;ll never go hungry; such is the variety of food %26amp; if you want something differnt just ask the chefs and they%26#39;ll prepare it for you.
When we were there the sea was a bit rough %26amp; as you take a towel %26amp; go towards the waves break the ';Pool boy';omes running to warn you about the currents %26amp; he%26#39;ll guide you to the safest swimming areas. This is what I mean by good service.
